The 69 Dodge Charger is seen by many as the epitome of classic Mopar muscle. The classic styling and aggressive look of the vehicles has made it one of the most sought after vehicles from Americas golden muscle car era. Countless 69’s have gone the way of so many cars that we see as the most valuable classics today, either being forgotten about, left to rot in a field, neglected, or just flat out scrapped.

Fast forward several decades to the mid 2,000’s where we see the resurgence of American Muscle. Mopar got back in the game strong with their line of large displacement HEMI equipped cars, that revived the namesake of the classics that the current generation missed out on. Since the 6.1l HEMI debuted in 2005, MOPAR has been continually improving their performance line with larger displacement motors making the raw power that we missed in big body cars for so long.

Nearly 50 years after the iconic 69 Charger was born, Dodge changed the game completely with the introduction of the Hellcat. The 6.2L HEMI making 707HP redefined what the epitome of Mopar muscle means to many generations who lived through the struggles of the lackluster attempts at the “muscle” resurgence of the 80’s and 90’s.

We here at Cleveland Power and Performance are proud to undertake a swap that we think is the swap that dreams are made of. We have searched for a 69 model Charger year that is deserving of the swap we have been dreaming of doing for quite some time. We will be taking the solid 69 that we have and transforming the vehicle by dropping the 707hp Hellcat driveline in her.
