This would be an amazing platform for a custom build, getting you all of the parts you need to take your classic Mopar to the next level. This Challenger, with a wheelbase of 116″, shares dimensions similar to many b-body Chrysler vehicles. Using this Challenger for a body swap is a great and cost effective way to get all the parts you need in one shot.
We assembled this donor by transplanting all of the driveline, electronic and interior components from a 2016 Challenger Hellcat that was involved in a collision into an un-hit 2015 Challenger Hellcat that we purchased as a theft recovery. The engine, trans, and all of the electronics are VIN matched from the 2016 (2C3CDZC98GH198742) The VIN from the 2015 Challenger, that appears on cowl, is 2C3CDZC92FH769804. This vehicle is being sold with a bill of sale only. No title is included.
This Hellcat is powered by the awe inspiring 6.2L Supercharged HEMI engine. This beast of an engine, fit with a 2.4L twin screw supercharger running at just over 11lbs of boost, makes 707hp @6,200 rpm and 650 ft-lbs@4,000 rpm. The power is put to the ground through the ZF built 8HP90 8 speed auto trans and 2.62 ratio limited slip differential.
The interior includes full dash (no air bags) with speedometer, 8.4″ touch screen radio with performance pages, heater/AC controls, leather and suede seats, steering wheel with paddle shifters, and more!
This Challenger is sitting on factory 20×9.5″ black wheels. All four wheels are wrapped in 275/40/20 tires. Behind the wheels are the factory front 6 piston and rear 4 piston Brembo Calipers. The wheels show some scratches, as pictured.
